Edouard d’Archimbaud
Edouard d’Archimbaud is a data scientist in charge of the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab for BNP Paribas CIB. He joined the group in 2016, having previously held different positions focusing on advanced technological research and operational projects in major banking institutions and hedge funds. In 2017, he was ranked among the 20 top data scientists in banking and finance by efinancialcareers. Edouard graduated from Ecole Polytechnique in Paris, with a specialization in applied mathematics and computer science. He holds a M.Sc. in Machine Learning and Computer Vision from ENS Cachan.


Antoine Bordes
Antoine Bordes leads the lab of Facebook Artificial Intelligence Research in Paris. Prior to joining Facebook in 2014, he was a CNRS researcher in Compiegne in France and a postdoctoral fellow in Yoshua Bengio’s lab of University of Montreal. He received his PhD in machine learning from Pierre & Marie Curie University in Paris in 2010 with two awards for best PhD from the French Association for Artificial Intelligence and from the French Armament Agency. Antoine’s current interests are centered around natural language understanding using neural networks, with a focus on question answering and dialogue systems. He published more than 50 papers cumulating more than 5,000 citations.


Matthieu Cord
Matthieu Cord is Full Professor at the Computer Science Department LIP6, at UPMC/Paris/France. In 2009, he was nominated at the IUF (French Research Institute). He is currently ANR scientific officer. His research interests include Computer Vision, Machine Learning and Deep Learning for Visual and Multimedia data processing.


Stéphane Crépey
Stéphane Crépey is professor at the mathematics department of University of Evry (France), head of probability and mathematical finance, and head of the financial engineering branch (M2IF) of the Paris-Saclay master program in financial mathematics. His research interests are financial modeling in the fields of counterparty credit risk and XVA analysis, as well as the related mathematics : backward stochastic differential equations, random times modeling, and enlargement of filtration. He is the author of numerous research papers and two books : ``Financial Modeling : A Backward Stochastic Differential Equations Perspective’’ (S. Crépey, Springer Finance Textbook Series, 2013) and ``Counterparty Risk and Funding, a Tale of Two Puzzles’’ (S. Crépey, T. Bielecki and D. Brigo, Chapman & Hall/CRC Financial Mathematics Series, 2014). He is an associate editor of ’SIAM Journal on Financial Mathematics’ and ’International Journal of Theoretical and Applied Finance’, and a member of the scientific council of the French financial markets authority (AMF). Stéphane Crépey graduated from ENSAE and holds a PhD in applied mathematics from Ecole Polytechnique and INRIA Sophia Antipolis.


Jean-Marc David
Jean-Marc David is Expert Leader in Artificial Intelligence at Renault. His role is to build the vision and strategic roadmap in this field, help define and build the required internal competencies, as well as select partnerships. In his former position, Jean-Marc was in charge of research projects on autonomous vehicles, connected cars and new mobility services. Jean-Marc is also president of the ‘Big Data & AI’ committee at Systematic Paris Region, which role is to disseminate these technologies and promote champions in the Systematic ecosystem.


Ludovic Denoyer
Ludovic Denoyer is a professor in machine/deep/reinforcement learning at LIP6/UPMC and co-head of the Data Science Master program. His research is focused on deep reinforcement learning for the development of adaptive models and agents, with a particular focus on budgeted approaches and human-machine interaction.

Pierre Fortin
Pierre Fortin is assistant professor in computer science at UPMC. His research interests include parallel algorithmic and scientific high performance computing on novel parallel architectures.


Patrick Gallinari
Patrick Gallinari is professor in Computer Science at Pierre et Marie Curie University in Paris (UPMC). His research focuses on statistical learning with applications in fields such as semantic data analysis and complex data modeling. His recent work deals with the modeling of structured data. He leads a team whose main theme is Learning Representations and Deep Learning (https://mlia.lip6.fr). In has been one of the pioneers in the development of neural networks in France. He was also director of the computer lab. of UPMC from 2005 to 2013.


Fabienne Jézéquel
Fabienne Jézéquel is Associate Professor in Computer Science in Panthéon-Assas university and member of the Computer Science Laboratory LIP6. Her research activities consist in numerical validation and performance optimization of scientific applications.


Serge Palaric
Serge PALARIC joined NVIDIA in 2004 after 20 years working in the IT at different positions for OEMs as Dell, Packard Bell and NEC but also software companies at European level. Focused on system design wins and key global accounts management ; He is in charge of embedded business in NVIDIA covering Europe with a focus on AI City, IOT and Autonomous machines where Deep Learning, AI & parallel computing are key leading technologies. Serge Palaric covers as well the Enterprise business for South Europe, focus to large enterprise Data Centers, HPC & Cloud in order to develop the learning aspects of AI.


Patrick Perez
Patrick Pérez is Distinguished Scientist and Fellow at Technicolor where he leads exploratory research on machine learning and vision. He is currently on the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Computer Vision. Before joining Technicolor, Patrick Pérez has been researcher at Inria (1993-2000, 2004-2009) and at Microsoft Research Cambridge (2000-2004).


Jean-Philip Piquemal
Jean-Philip Piquemal is Professor at Sorbonne Universités, UPMC, Chemistry & Institut Universitaire de France (IUF). He is research adj. Professor at the University of Texas at Austin, Biomedical Engineering. He is also the Head of Institut Parisien de Chimie Physique et Théorique - IP2CT -


Tabea Rebafka
Tabea Rebafka is a statistician working on both theoretical and applied issues with a focus on the development of statistical algorithms. Tabea holds a Ph. D. in applied mathematics from Telecom ParisTech and is now an assistant professor at UPMC.

Fanny Villers is a statistician working on both theoretical and applied issues with a focus on the development of statistical algorithms. Fanny holds a Ph. D. in applied mathematics from Orsay/Paris-Sud and is now an assistant professor at UPMC.


Benedikt Wilbertz
Benedikt Wilbertz holds a PhD in probability theory and spent some years as Post-Doc at the LPMA. After working in the field of algorithmic trading, he is now Head of Data Science and Machine Learning at Trendiction S.A.
